This is from the day we did the "death road" tour just out of La Paz. The road has mostly been shut down now as they've built a new road because so many people were dying every week using the road that is only wide enough for one car. Tourists ride down the road every day on mountain bikes.
This is from a town called Potosi, near the middle of Bolivia. It's a big mining town. They mostly mine for silver and you can buy it for like $10 a kilo or something ridiculously cheap like that, pretty incredible.
They work in pretty horrific conditions and there life expectancy is 45 if they work their whole lives down there.
That's our tour guide Julio, in the middle in the blue shirt. He asked me to be his wife. We went out for a drink with him that night and he invited me to come live with him at his house. I declined politely.
This is from a small down down south of Bolivia called Tupiza. This little girl lived at the hostel, she was really cute and made us tie her jacket around her waist because Lucy had her's like that. We taught her how to do high five's and speak some words in English.
This is Lucy and Henry from London. I travelled with them from Salta, Argentina - up to La Paz, Bolivia for my birthday.
This is from Sucre, Bolivia - the capital. We ate fresh fruit cups with pink yoghurt from the market in the mornings.
My favourite part of Sucre!!! I was sick in this town and we kept finding little Bolivian ladies on the street to squeeze us fresh orange juice every day for 50cents.
We ate lunch one day at the 'Mirador' which is the lookout. There was some traditional Bolivians playing us music while we ate.
Moana and I met Dav, from Sydney when we were in La Paz. He came to Sucre a few days after us and we all hung out for a couple of weeks. We went and visited the cemetery in Sucre.
